Hi All,
Quick question, I have left my router on for almost a week after going live on 1st July, I would of expected DLM to of made changes to my line, How long does it normally take for it to kick in and G.INP to activate?
Stats Below, I have achieved 73/74Meg on my line before.
Can take 7/10 days for DLM to activate G.INP assuming you are on a Huawei cabinet
In hub stats FTTP MODE should be 'off'
Which exchange and cabinet are you connected to. If you are connected to an ECI cabinet, you won't benefit from either G.Inp or 3dB noise margin and are currently getting the best speed possible if that is the case.
@licquorice Huawei cab. Midhurst Cab 12, Previously have had 3db in past on my old account.
@imjolly It’s now off had to sadly reboot the router ugh.. why was that on.. start again.. ugh. It’s not dropped down to 62 meg goodie! Ugh..
Still no change? Confused would of thought it would of lowered by now..
Just checked and you are on Huawei cab. G.INP is automatic and controlled by the DLM so there is nothing anyone can do to and you just have to stay connected and wait
Thanks for checking! I will just leave it be. Its rock solid stable..
Thanks! 🙂
Day 16
as I posted before the application of G.INP is automatic and controlled by the DLM - there is no manual intervention
Hi All,
I’ve left my router alone for 6 weeks and still no change? Any ideas why I’m stuck with the same speeds? I can definitely sync faster? I’ve had 74 meg on the same line back in Feb. It’s just stayed on 63 meg..
anyone?
