Re: Difficulties with renewal (via retention team)

Go to solution

@-Richie- My apologies for the confusion. My timelines as below

- Decided to leave BT and made an order with Sky to switch with an activation date 7th  oCT

- BT called on 27th Sept and offered a similar deal and I agreed and they opened an order to renew my contract with BT  and to stop Sky take over. Told me no need to contact Sky and BT will take care of it

- Order was pending and Called BT on 5th to ask about it. The agent said he is not sure why and deleted the order to raise a new one but he was unable to do so (raise new order with the deal offered). He said he will email the original team and the person who called me on 27th.

- Until now I haven't received any call from BT and when I called SKY today they said BT never contacted to stop the take over and everything is going as planned. So I thought to just go with that.

I hope its makes some sense now?

It does now, fingers crossed all goes to plan, if not then BT will be happy to take you back anytime in the future 🙂
