OR has recently stated that they have enabled FTTP here in my road in Droitwich Spa, and I'm contemplating switching from FTTC to FTTP with BT as I've got 18 months left on my BT FTTC Contract
Can anyone supply a picture of the FTTP kit and router which is installed so that I can plan for a location?

Note, the white box to the right is a third-party router being used. This is not supplied by BT and is not required, (unless you want to get your own). The box with lights on the wall is the ONT, (Optical Network Terminal), installed by Openreach. The router to the left is a BT supplied Smart Hub 2
Not seen it done but I would suspect the holes are fairly low down to secure the ladder from slipping.
Search Tetra ladder safety if sufficiently interested, but basically the holes are to secure the ladder to the wall so it can be climbed safely, once the ‘at height’ work is done the ladder can be put away then the holes used to secure it to the house wall are filled in ….the ladder fixings are at a low level not at height , it’s the bottom of the ladder that is restrained not the top
To safely secure the ladder the 12mm Tetra Drill Hole needs to be about 4 foot from the ground.
A lot of Engineers tend to do it lower though, sometimes so low it renders the Tetra Sysem almost pointless.
willl this be done the same way or will the vox be on the pole instead like here
