Re: FTTP - Overhead Cable Clamp Broken At Property (2nd Time) Cable Sagging A Lot - Needs OR Fibre T
Apologies this image isn't clearer as it's quite zoomed. I hope the experts can still make it out. I am not sure this clamp is in properly either is it? This is at the pole.
Doesn't look pulled tight to me...
If not, that won't be helping matters either?

Looks OK but to be honest unless you can get up close, and I mean literally right next to it there’s no way from knowing it’s not.

Re: FTTP - Overhead Cable Clamp Broken At Property (2nd Time) Cable Sagging A Lot - Needs OR Fibre T
Hopefully when I get someone out to correct my clamp on my property and re tension the cable would it be unreasonable to ask them to check that on the pole or would that just annoy them?
Also, have you been an engineer working with these? Just trying to gauge from your posts and knowledge.
Thanks.

Re: FTTP - Overhead Cable Clamp Broken At Property (2nd Time) Cable Sagging A Lot - Needs OR Fibre T
Morning,
Just to update on the situation. Shortly after 8am this morning I had a couple of Openreach engineers turn up. One from last time when he repaired the clamp at the property. He said this time he would like to provision a whole new cable drop from the pole to the property. They have now used the rounded fibre optic cable from the pole and used curly wurley clamps/fixings to the existing eyebolt. He said they have gone back to using the curly clamps for a lot of the jobs they do now and the flat cable has been replaced with the rounded one, although some contractors still use it he said.
Just after your thoughts. I hope this stays good.
But, so far top job by the Openreach team. I appreciate it.

Sounds like a good result.
I'll leave @36ULW to comment on cable and clamp type.
