99% of these Alt Nets know there’s not the Market for them. They’ll be either out of Business or Bought Out within the next 10-15 years.
The reason so many are building is because the Government are literally throwing Billions of Pounds at them to Build FTTP Networks. They of course build them on the cheap, pocket the rest and when it’s build they’ll sell up, then the new owners will sell up and so on and so on.
A lot of people are going to get very rich from this.
Give it 15-20 years and you’ll have the big 3, BT/Openreach, Virgin Media and CityFibre.
Of course you’ll have a few others like Hyperoptic maybe but most of the smaller ones will be long forgotten.
