Hi, can someone explain to me why https://speedtest.btwholesale.com/ shows such a high upload speed when I'm at 900mb down and 110mb up package? This seems very exaggerated.
Hi @Joe33158 thanks for posting, did you use the click here link at the bottom right of that bt wholesale speed test screen for 500Mb/1000Mb broadband services?
Thanks
Neil
Thanks for the answer my friend. I have more than enough to pass the minimum requirements but I would have thought this would only be relevant if I wasn't getting enough speed if say I was using a Cat 5 cable, low memory, 10/100 NIC or slow CPU but I'm getting too much speed on the upload side which has me baffled.
Just for the record my specs are below
I even tried disabling all but one Ethernet card (1Gbps) and ran the test with the same results.
It would seem my upload is getting faster...lol🤣
Thanks for getting back @Joe33158 .
It's good to see the upload speeds are improving for you. Thanks for the update.
Cheers
David
Don't know what's going on mate, definitely a glitch of some sort🙂
Same issue with anti-virus disabled. I tried on a iPad Pro 5th Gen and it even worse. On iPad screenshot below it shows as nearly 2 gigabye download and that's on wireless...lol
I'm starting to think this is because I'm using my own Asus router and not the Smart Hub, tests on all other sites, Fast.com, Speedtest.net and nperf.com are all showing within range, it's just the BT Tester that's all over the place, very confusing guys 🙂
