BT (Openreach) have been toying with the idea of giving me Fibre since the start of last month. The initial engineer refused to do anything because I have a resin driveway. BT said this didn't matter and sent another engineer who equally said he wouldn't touch it. Anyhow, I (personally) chiselled a corner, where the wire appeared, to uncover the duct.
The engineer worked away for some time. Eventually saying the duct was blocked under the public pavement. Due to some new housing, Openreach extended the main duct and seemingly squashed mine. Now I'm waiting for the civils team.
Any idea how long? its been over a month since the first engineer.
