If I may reiterate-
the order for 1Gbps was accepted TWICE
it was cancelled without any dialogue or explanation TWICE
FTTP Team in Dundee (?) seemed to be confused about what IS available
one of this was helped by someone at BT swapping over my two account numbers meaning the wrong property came up. This was AFTER the orders were cancelled.
at no time did I link the accounts.
the order placed was a separate and distinct order.

Finally...
"the database has been updated" ... I had already spotted this and placed another order anyway.
OpenReach Chief Engineers Office tell me that the original order had been "mis-routed".
