Re: I have BT installed fibre in my property no consent given

I think the point that is being missed here is that, while Openreach and BT retail are both part of “BT group”, OFCOM rules oblige them to operate separate companies.

This is a customer-to-customer help forum for BT residential customers.  It has no link to Openreach whatsoever and consequently, while we sympathise with both of you, there will be no one on here that can really help.

Edit:  @Kimberlin Good point about it being 10 months old.  I missed that myself.

@WSH  And indeed it appears that the appropriate responses and advice were given at the time.

I have no idea of the vulgarities of being a landlord and the relationship one might have with their tenants, but clearly legal advice may be required to resolve the issue.

Yes, but the fact that there is no relationship between OR and BT was missed.  You have to remember that a lot of the general public still think they are one and the same.

They don’t need a Wayleave to install an ONT in your property when taking out an FTTP Service using the Openreach Network.

Re: I have BT installed fibre in my property no consent given

As harsh as it comes across, as has been pointed out, this whole scenario is nothing to do with this forum. It is a landlord/tenant issue and it’s for them to resolve.

Re: I have BT installed fibre in my property no consent given

I have asked the forum moderators to lock this thread. It has been answered and no matter how many times the OP asks this forum can not help.

@shakey1981  As has been pointed out, vishal123349's post was 10 months ago, so I doubt he's still listening, and OR is nothing to do with this forum.
