Internet connection loss

Hi, Yes I have just disabled MAC randomisation on the network adapter earlier this morning. I will keep you informed on progress. I also used the laptop without charger. I had an internet drop out this morning and did a hub reset. So l have now eliminated the charger

Hi Barry.

It might be worth raising the issue again, as Openreach have only recently been given the go ahead, to actually upgrade the ONT. Mine was only installed on Friday afternoon but so far, I haven't noticed any drops in connectivity.

Have you actually read the thread? No drops were experienced whilst the laptop was not connected.

Hi licquorice. Yes the internet did not disconnect in the period when my laptop was in for repair

Seems a strange one, but I'd like to see if we can check if there is something interfering with your router from your laptop.

Internet dropped again yesterday with MAC randomisation disabled so no solution there I'm afraid. Thankyou for the suggestion.

Yes tried that but internet dropped out again yesterday so still the same problems
