Hi, Yes I have just disabled MAC randomisation on the network adapter earlier this morning. I will keep you informed on progress. I also used the laptop without charger. I had an internet drop out this morning and did a hub reset. So l have now eliminated the charger

It might be worth raising the issue again, as Openreach have only recently been given the go ahead, to actually upgrade the ONT. Mine was only installed on Friday afternoon but so far, I haven't noticed any drops in connectivity.

Have you actually read the thread? No drops were experienced whilst the laptop was not connected.

Seems a strange one, but I'd like to see if we can check if there is something interfering with your router from your laptop.

I don't want to tempt fate, but there has been a distinct improvement, in that the intermittent drops seem less frequent. It's still not quite right, so I have just installed an EE Smart Hub Plus Router, but as I'm not a techie, I have been having some teething problems. 😂 Watch this space. 🤔

Good to hear that. My Hub has been OK for a while too. It looks like it was probably congestion on the WiFi channel(s)
