Hi Barry. Sorry its taken so long to get back to you, but just to let you know that my connection is continuing to drop on an almost daily basis. The 20th visit from an Openreach engineer is scheduled for this week, for all the good that it will do. Intriguingly and after almost 3 years, even BT's routine online checks, are finally identifying the issue as a "Stale PPP Sessions Fault". Watch this space.
Hi John. Thanks for your update. It will be interesting to see how your internet problem is resolved. My internet has been working fine for several weeks. The last things I did, with advice, was to check and update network adapter drivers as necessary and also to allocate WiFi channels on the BT Home hub on both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz frequencies, e.g. my laptop now connects to the hub on a selected channel on 5GHz via the WiFi extender.
