Upgraded on monday July31st to full fibre 900 but unable to run speed test via BT app as directed .
I've tried multiple times all week
Any ideas?

BTW i've got digital voice - but have asked to be taken off - is this the problem ?)
Try running https://speedtest.btwholesale.com/ with ethernet connection
Your current contract is broadband with phone and if you have now decided you don't want ability to make/receive calls on house phone then you will need to change your contract to broadband only
