Am only getting 0.6Mbps upload - any idea on how to speed this up?
Solved! Go to Solution.
you need to give more information
what internet connection do you have - old style copper, fibre to cab and copper to home or fibre to home are you testing using ethernet or wifi? if wifi try ethernet
in order for the forum members to help please can you post the stats from your router (if hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser) and if HH5 then go to troubleshooting then helpdesk and if HH6/SH2 then advanced settings then technical log information .
Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal
enter your phone number and post results remember to delete number https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL
Someone may then be able to offer help/assistance/suggestions to your problem

Speed noted in the original post is via ethernet. Not sure what the connection is to the router the other side.
you are not going to get much faster speed and in fact you are not much better off than you were on previous adsl. you are obviously a long way from your street cabinet
however from dslchecker you have FTTP fibre to you home available and you could upgrade and get a far faster and more stable connection. speed choice would be yours from 150mb to 900 mb
try phoning either FTTP TEAM 08005874787 but if redirected to CS then hang up and try later or try retentions 08007831401 and see what you get offered to upgrade
That's awesome - many thanks for your help.
