My hub was due on Friday. Tracking tells me it’s still at the PO hub and I’ve got the engineer coming this afternoon. Do I cancel the engineer?

No, let them install, you just won't be able to test it.

I finally got my router today after them sending it out a week ago!! My rescheduled engineer appointment is tomorrow. Hope everyone else get theirs soon!!

My engineer is due in around 20 minutes! Probably have to wait a week for the hub to arrive but at least it’s one job done. 

hope it isn’t complicated to install as I don’t have or want a phone line

Literally the same thing happened to me on Friday!!! They're coming back tomorrow for me as well.

Two things annoyed me:

 

he didn’t remove his boots until I pointed out the prints he left on my bedroom carpet 

 

when asked if there was a bt socket already here I told him there wasn’t yet he still insisted on checking every room. Would he have done this if I was male??

 

I’ll be relieved when it’s all over.

Oh dear! Definitely an imposition. Hopefully tomorrow goes better for you. 

I'm dreading mine tomorrow because I've a feeling my underground cable isn't in a tube/duct and is just buried which may mean they have to arrange someone else  to come and do digging outside as I live a few hundred metres away from the road.
