I’ve been without full fibre since yesterday (which stopped suddenly) which I require for work. An open reach engineer is scheduled for Tuesday (4 days). Tried to speak to someone to help at BT but zero help apart from trying to sell me Halo product for future losses of connectivity.
The PON is solid red. I’ve done both power down cycle options but not worked.
the option to check if there are issues in my area is unavailable.
essentially does anyone have any way of fixing this? BT have been useless.

Re: Solid red PON light
You can’t fix it yourself. It’s a break in the fibre somewhere.

Re: Solid red PON light
Many thanks, that’s more than I’ve got in 24 hours of live chat!
guessing impossible to say but is there anyway of telling if this is just isolated to myself or the area?
the check your area is unavailable on BT and downdector doesn’t really say much

Nothing you can do, apart from wait until Openreach visit. The attendance time is correct for a residential contract.
