Sudden speed drop

Engineer came today, explained that the the cable was jammed in the DP box by a previous engineer and it caused the cable to become damaged and therefore caused the drop in speed. He recut the cable and instantly the speeds returned back to normal. Thankfully he also told me that my DP is currently in plan to have FTTP within the next 2 months as well.

Take that info the engineer told you about FTTP with a pinch of salt. He could be right just as easily as he could be wrong. Many have said similar before and been wrong.
