Hi Guys,
Having a little trouble ordering Fibre internet to my house (SDU), when both of my direct neighbors (Terraced house) can.
I've created a ticket with Openreach's fibre team and they have responded saying that "There are currently no spare fibre ports on a peice of equipment that serves your address. I've notified the capactity team who will see if an extra port can be provided."
If this really is the case, fair enough, im just going to have to wait for capacity at the exchange to be increased.
However from all the other articles i can see, when they've been told there at capacity the BT wholesale checker will say waiting list (or simular cant remember the exact wording). However mine is just showing "--". Also when i use the Fibre Checker on openreach's site im given the message "We're sorry, our fibre products aren't available for you yet"
Has anyone else had a simular experience / contact with open reachs availibilty team? Does anyone know what thier expected reply time is?
Many thanks

The waiting list annotation applies to FTTC ports available in the cabinet.
I don't think the same annotation is used for fibre CBT ports.
Have you tried speaking to the FTTP team 0800 587 4787?
That number diverts to the normal help desk when busy, if it does, just try ringing again
I'd call the FTTP team, looks like it should be available tbh
I sometimes think BT has got a death wish as a company!!!
I will ask if the mods can do anything to unblock the drains
The number of times we are told that Openreach won't deal with the public and you must go via BT (or whoever your ISP is) makes that surprising advice!
