You should perhaps consider your question in that case.

There is no availability date from Openreach in my area at all. Just a hint at 2026 lol. So why BT have kept deliberately misleading me I really don't know? Trading standards next port of call I suppose?

Yep, I should have dumped them 3 years ago really, but unfortunately two close bereavements rather took my focus of the matter in hand.

Do you have it in writing the time scale in which BT stated that FTTP will be installed to your property?

Please keep us updated how you get on with Trading Standards although I suspect I know what the out come will be.

Could be worse at least its not chaining 6 ISDN lines together for a video conference.
Right I'm off then 🤣

Hi.

I think stillnofibre is referring to the BT Halo 3+ contract with full fibre promise. I don't know how BT can promise something they don't have any control over delivery of? Do you think they are mis-selling a product?

The full fibre promise only states " as soon as it's available in your area". There is no mention of when.

@Nigly

You are posting on a two year old thread which may have been resolved by now.

It's still an ongoing issue.

It is available in my area. Our cabinet delivers FTTP to houses near me, the closest being less than 10 metres. BT Openreach say I'll have it in July 2025. The website says by December 2026. For the last 3 years they've continually changed the goalposts. There are BT pits in the footpath so the infrastructure appears in place to be able to complete the work.
