BT mobile

Go to solution

About 2 weeks ago I received a text allegedly from BT Mobile saying that they'd updated some of my network settings and asking me to restart my phone to make sure it's up-to-date. I'm a bit suspicious so was just wondering if anybody else has had this same message? TIA

@cwmoss

Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.

Everybody got that same message, and needed to restart their phones to re-establish network connectivity.

I suspect it was related to the migration to EE, which involved some parameter changes.

In my case, I had a SIM error message until I restarted my phone.

Nothing to worry about.

If you have an iPhone - and you go to Settings>Your Name>Subscriptions, you'll find at the bottom of the page 'EE Plan Benefits'. Tap on that and you'll find there are probably none. I think that was the update.😞
