Blocking Text Messages

I have had a number of text messages, see photo which I want to block.  I've tried selecting the 3 dots but only option is to pin to top.  Had about 10 messages in the last 24 hours.  I have a Samsung S22 can anyone suggest anything.  Tried Google but don't appear to have the options they suggest.

Go into your list of messages but do not open the message, instead long hold on the one you want to block and select Block from the pop-up

If they are from BT, then its possible someone is trying to request a password reset on your account. Please make sure you do not answer any scam phone calls pretending to be from BT, and asking you for the verification code, otherwise you will lose access to your account.

Just to add to @Keith_Beddoe 's advice. The only time you give out the code is if you've phoned BT and they will often send you a text and ask for the code to verify you.

What do you get if you tap the bin symbol in the top right corner ?

Just get delete option when clicking on bin.
