We have 2 SIMs on a family sim plan, if the 2nd SIM is transferred away to a new provider what happens to the remaining SIM on the plan in terms of plan cost?
Hi @BehindTheGeek Thanks for posting, the overall cost depends on how many Family SIMs you have in the plan. The cost for each one gets lower the more you add.
The first Family SIM is the same price as our 15GB, 6GB and 3GB SIM only plan; the second has a lower rental price and so on.
If you revert to one sim the price will reduce to the cost of the data plan that you have.
Thanks
Neil
Our family SIM is a 20GB option costing just under £20 for the 2 SIMS, the billing shows a discount of £5. How do I work out what the remaining SIM cost would be if I remove 1?
Don’t think there’s any solid way of working it out, but you get a bigger discount for each additional sim after the 1st sim.
If your price was £20 (pre-discount) for both, I’d guess sim 1 would be approx £11 and sim 2 £9.
