Old Call History

Hi all.

Just found that I could do with a list of the calls I made from my mobile last June...

Obviously they have long since disappeared from my phone's 'Recents' list, but is it possible to access a full call history for my mobile for, say, the last twelve months somewhere?

Indeed there is. In your MyBT, check the monthly statements where you should find the call history for that month.

Thanks for that Carlusha, but I'm afraid that I have not been successful in finding my call history that way.

There isn't a link on the MyBT page called 'Monthly Statements', but I went to Bills & Usage, then View My Bill and then applied the filter to show the last 12 months of bills.

Yes, I can download the bill covering the period I was after, but in fact I already had that saved on my computer from when I downloaded it last year. The thing is, though, it has no call history detail in it at all. It just has a page called 'Your regular charges' and, if no call is made outside those regular charges, nothing whatever is listed.

Did I go where you meant, or is there another 'Monthly Statements' link that I have overlooked?

[To be clear, when I say 'Call History' I mean numbers dialled and at what times, NOT simply what I have been charged by BT.]

From other posts there is no details if the calls were free and part of your call package

Okay, well thanks for that. C'est la vie...

At the risk of being a little controversial, it does seem a little odd to me, when I believe service providers are obliged by law to keep records of all calls for a minimum of six months for potential access by law enforcement agencies, that the actual user of the devices in question cannot access that data themselves. It is, after all, their own data.

Thanks for clearing that up. I had totally forgotten the calls made within the so-called "free calls" allowance. I cite my old age for being rather unusually quick to answer!
