Using mobile abroad

hi, trying to get mobile working in France. I have use abroad set up on the account but can’t get service.

Tried restarting, switching on and off aeroplane mode, resetting network settings, switching on data roaming, turning off automatic network and selecting an available network.

Nothing seems to be working.phone is an iPhone 12.

any suggestions?

have you set your spend limit for abroad to say £5 but must be greater than £0
