bt piggyback

Good morning all,  Just purchased a holiday home to find there is no bt mobile signal but there is an ee signal ,as i am a bt wi fi and bt mobile customer will i be able to use (piggyback) ee  mobile service when in the area?

I would have thought you will automatically have signal on your bt mobile as its all one network.

@Mjcp21 is correct, they’re the same networks. BT Mobile customers have the same level of access as EE customers. Depending on the contract type some customers do not have access to 5G or have speed restrictions. 

If someone else in your household is getting reception on EE it could be down to the device they’re using, the modem and antenna in the device might be different to yours. 

If you’re using the same make and model device it might be worth calling BT technical support to see if they can help with the settings.
