Hi John,
I've checked our DNS servers and have it classed as "Business - Other" and returning IP 35.214.80.35
No blocks in place.
Maybe you're seeing the desktop cache the NXDOMAIN?
Steve
Hope this gets seen - looks like @Steve_M has been super useful in the past, so fingers crossed.
I have found that web app hosting delivered via subdomains of onrender.com are blocked by BT -- I can access via mobile and via VPN. Render's corporate site render.com loads OK.
When I revert to BT (EE) broadband the app pages fail to load.
URL: https://pmh-web-tool.onrender.com/
A record IP addresses: 216.24.57.7 & 216.24.57.251
render.com is a legitimate app / web hosting company.
Please can blocks be lifted to allow BT / EE customer to access this particular app / all render served apps?
Thanks,
Ben
Thanks for flagging this, @bschlaepfer.
We've made the team @Steve_M works as part of aware, and they will take a look into this one.
If we get any updates or require any further details I'll let you know, too.
Peter
Hi @bschlaepfer
Is this still happening as all looks good our end. I can also view the page from my home broadband.
Steve
Likewise I can access it no problem from BT FTTP.
Hello @Steve_M
Its now June 2026 and this issue has surfaced again with with my BT supplied/branded Norton Safe Web product.
Norton has blacklisted my website octopusheatpump.co.uk. So far BT and Zvelo have not picked up the status change this time so it is only Norton that is blocking the site.
Last time this happened there was a way to contact Norton on chat and then get the status changed via tech support however this has now changed and you can only submit a change request and then cross your fingers!
Would appreciate any help.
Hi @superman
Have Norton now sorted this for you? Looks green from all our checks and Norton website showing green too
Steve
Hi Steve M, yes it is fixed now thank you.
Unfortunately, if you follow the links Norton provides (from the warning pop up or any search result) you will only be able to submit a "false positive" to them, you cannot chat online with them anymore on their website and request an escalation like I did last time.
The way I got it fixed was to go on their facebook page and PM them, they made me go through a lot of hoops as their FB help team is paid subscriptions only which I dont' have. Anyway I managed to persuade the FB team to send my problem to tier 1 and 2 days later it was fixed 🙂
I can't believe Norton can ruin peoples business's with no way to appeal.
