Removal of old BT payphone

Hi 

I have a small wall payphone in one of my properties that I need to remove. It belongs to BT, do they have to remove it as its their property, or can I try and remove it myself?

How to remove?Thanks

Call the dedicated helpline Monday to Friday 08.30 till 17.00 hours on 0800661610 or via email customer.serv.payphones@bt.com. They should be able to advise what to do.
