Adding account number to My BT fails

Hi, New customer with fibre broadband and trying to associate my Account number with my BT ID.

It accepts the account number and says to wait up to 5 minutes but it never resolves. Tried multiple times over the last few hours. Also tried flipping to a different browser and device.

Always returns to the 'You don't have any accounts ..' screen.

Any tips?!

Hi @stevenwross, sorry you can't get your account linked to the BTID.

I've sent you a Private Message so you can get in touch with the Mod team and we'll be able to help fix this.

Thanks John. I contacted support directly through the chat function. I'm a new customer, didn't know that was an option.

It was a torturous process but we got there in the end.
