Firstly I would like to thank those who let us know that BT Customers were having trouble reverting their accounts back to Microsoft Control as that has helped me to avoid
As can be seen in the long threads on this forum, many of the BT Customers who took up the BT free 12 Months of Game Pass offer then found that their existing XBox Accounts had effectively been highjacked when they took the offer.
However, for some new customers there is an answer, (after you let your existing Game Pass expire), you can take up the free 12 Months of ZBT Game Pass offer and still retain complete control over your main XBox Character by setting up a dummy account as follows;
(1). Set up a new dummy email address.
(2). Use the new dummy email address to create a new dummy xBox Character for use on your main xBox.
(3). Use this dummy character to take up the free 12 Months Game Pass Offer.
(4). The result is that all xBox Characters on your main xBox can then access Game Pass Ultimate without your existing account needing a valid Game Pass and without the risk that your existing xBox Character could be highjacked.
