how long does BT take to put automatic compensation into account.
my Landline was down for most of last year and I was told I would get compensation. The fault has been fixed for a couple of months now.
Just wondering how long to leave it before calling them.
Automatic compensation is applied for a total loss of service, if the service isn't restored 2 working days after it was reported to BT.
Automatic compensation was also paused for several months over the last 2 years, due to the restrictions in place regarding Covid.
If it's been a couple of months then it looks like you weren't entitled to it or it never tracked properly, speak with the Help team on 0800 800 150, they can investigate.
