I still haven't received my reward card and feel like trying to get this issue resolved is more than hassle than it's worth! Have we all been scammed?
Took out the broadband contract with the £150 reward card offer on 23/09/25.
Email received from BT on 26/09/25 stating card ready to be claimed. Website wouldn't work for days on end when trying to claim, reached out to agent 09/10/25 who claimed it on my behalf, gave me a reference/order number and told me it would arrive before 20/10/25.
Still no sign of any card in my inbox by 12/11/25 so reached out via bt@purecard email. Received a response from Millie at card holder services confirming that my order had been escalated, manually processed and would appear in my inbox 'shortly'.
Gave it another 3 working days, sent a further email chasing this and was told by Steven that it can take another 30 days from escalation to actually receive the card. Phoned the reward card number and was told there were technical issues and people had been waiting a lot longer than I had to receive their card so I should just wait my turn.
It has now been 3 months since I claimed the card and I haven't received anything. Every complaint I have made via email has been closed without being resolved. I decided to join BT instead of competing providers due to this incentive and am now stuck in a contract with no reward and no way out unless I pay an early termination fee.
I feel totally let down by BT and fear I have fallen victim to a horrible scam.
