BT still billing despite no longer having service from them.

BT were unable to complete my house move. I cancelled my service and returned equipment. I was told when I phoned about my last bill that my next bill would be my final bill.

No it’s NOT and it shows my old address as billing address and charges in advance till May.

I’ve been moved since February 2024. 

Anyone else have this problem being charged when you no longer have broadband or any other service from them.

I received email and text saying they received the equipment back. 

On the phone again saying waiting time is 1 hour. BT are a joke.

Hi @teabag and welcome to our community.

I'm sorry you're having problems with the billing. It looks like you're quarterly billed whcih might explain hy the charges are up until May but I can clear things up for you. Check your inbox for my message and drop me over the details.

No monthly billing. Thank goodness i cancelled the direct debit in March when i had a suspicion i was going to have trouble with billing as i was having trouble with getting a service from bt.
