SKY took over my BB on Oct 17th and insist that it BT would have seen this. BT are saying they were never notified. I called BT and told them SKY are now my provider and they can see it was taken over on 17th Oct.
SKY insist that BT would be able to see the request for the service takeover, but BT say SKY is at fault, I'm going round in circles. SKY advised not to pay BT as they are not providing any services.
I am still getting billed by BT with charges added for non payment.
How do I get BT to stop billing me - I am concerned this may show up on my credit file as I do not intend to pay.
I am out of contract since Jan 23.
Thanks

Did you get a letter and/or email from BT to say sorry you're leaving?
Another cause of this is did you have FTTC from BT and took FTTP from Sky?
@-Richie- it shouldn't be caused by moving from FTTC with BT to FTTP with Sky as they're both on Openreach networks. We did this same move and it went perfectly
I cannot recall any letter re leaving. I did call BT to let them know I was moving to sky when I completed the switch from sky, approx 14 days before it went live on 17th oct
