Being charged more than website says prices are

I'd like to make a complaint please. The Full Works TV package is quoted at £78 a month and my Halo 3 Fibre 900 is £56 so why am I being charged £92.57 for the Full Works TV package??? I've called up to sort some things out and the lovely gentleman on the phone has "saved me money" refreshing my package and reduced it by £6 month which is still £149.99 instead of the £135 it should be (£142 with Netflix Premium). I've been paying these prices for months and months and months. When I pointed this out to gentleman on the phone, he said prices vary from area to area. Surely that can't be correct! Why have a price stated online that is different to what you actually take out of my bank? All those extra £££ add up, especially when I'm a single mum breaking myself trying to work two jobs just to feed my kids and pay the rent and bills. Can someone please, please help?

Re: Being charged more than website says prices are

Prices online are for new customers & vary with the time of year. Prices also vary by area depending on the competition.

I'm not a TV subscriber & the "flexible" rules baffle me, but you may be able to downgrade the TV package to something more affordable. Hopefully someone who understands those will chip in.

Thank you ❤️ I just don't understand how it's fair to charge loyal existing customers who have stuck by BT for years even more money. The temptation to sign up with Sky is strong...

Ultimately changing providers every contract yields the best results, moving to Sky will get you a pretty good new customer deal no doubt, but once their contract is up you're going to be in the same spot, but then you can come back to BT/EE as a new customer again...and with that new customer prices.

There is a harsh reality waiting for me in 18 months, the deal I got with BT was so good when I signed up.

Re: Being charged more than website says prices are

Its tricky when you need a TV Service also, not many providers for that, for those that want the traditionally EPG setup that is and a recording box. Sky is of course a big player and option but a Sky Q setup isnt priced that well in my opinion and competitive pricing comes from their Sky Steam product which isnt as nice as the EE TV Box Pro.

Its a shame you cant move from BT to EE and be a new customer with EE as pricing their is good, but even though EE and BT are 'separate' moving to EE from BT doesnt result in being a new customer.
