Possible causes of a charge on mobile bill - making a call(s) toanumber that is not included in free calls or sending mms text which are also not free and easily done or simply an error on BT part
I have been getting scam calls in oriental languages going to my voicemail, listening to them then deleting them and blocking. Could it be this? if so how do I stop it?
Hi @rasta
Receiving incoming calls are not chargeable, unless you're abroad at the time.
What does it show on the itemisation part of the bill next to the £2.51 charge?
You can view your bill and breakdown online.

According to your bill you made a call to a number which was not part of your free calls package which resulted in cost of £2.51
If that was the case it would show the number I called?
Think I have just realised what I did, called a friend in Portugal 🇵🇹 😳
Looks like you have found the cause of the charge on your bill
Thanks for getting back to us with the details @rasta
Glad you managed to get to the bottom of the call charges!
