Charged for text when on unlimited text

I have unlimited text/calls/data on my contract, but i am constantly charged extra for text messages. Anyone one know why this is please?

Your unlimited text does not include MMS TEXT which are chargeable

I have never sent an MMS, never been able too! Its just normal text messages with words only.

Have you checked your bill to see the charge is broken down?

Likely is either an MMS (pictures, attachments etc.) or sending to an international number.

Looks like you’re subscribed to a premium service. Probably entered something in the past and forgot to tag the word stop on the end.
If you don’t remember who it is you can search for EE third party services checker and enter that number, and it should tell you who it is and what service they offer.
You normally have to text the word ‘stop’ to whichever number you’ve text before, or you could also disable premium calls and texts, or set your spend cap to £0 to also stop it.

Have you setup a weekly charity donation? If yes then the value of the donation is added to your mobile account.

You get unlimited standard SMS.
Premium messages for competitions, info, services etc. like you’ve been charged for are always separate as you’re paying for a third party service via your BT account. They’re never free.
