Can a moderator please help me with a complaint which seems to have been closed without investigation, or compensation. It is a bit difficult to summarise but involves me being persuaded to renew my BT Fibre 2 Broadband and calls contract unnecessarily by a false promise , causing me financial loss and a lot of stress. I had explained that we didn't want any changes at the moment as we are both elderly and in poor health and waiting to be contacted for operations etc. The complaint was made by the person I spoke to one 11 March , not by myself so I don't know what he said .

I hope you can help as I really don't feel up to sorting this on my own .

could you not have cancelled in cooling off period if change was not what you agreed?

Thanks for replying so quickly.  I am not good at typing and I have not been at my best lately. If a moderator could contact me I could give my complaint number and I do have dates and emails I can share. I am happy to talk on the phone but cannot face phoning the BT helpline yet again.
