Contacting BT

My BT contract is coming to an end. You would think that BT would be falling over themselves to keep customers, but it seems not. Wait time 30 minutes to speak to someone. Why should I bother, plenty of alternatives out there. Very very frustrating, they obviously have no business sense whatever.

Re: Contacting BT

As you approach the end of your minimum term , you get emails highlighting this fact (all providers are supposed to let you know so you can’t inadvertently move onto a more expensive ‘out of contract’ arrangement, thus communication also includes bespoke offers to renew that can be taken ‘on line’ ,mid check your emails , plus you can also go onto your ‘My BT’ online account and see your offers there .

Re: Contacting BT

Thank you for that.  I did receive an email but it made no mention of my phone package.  It really is impossible to speak to someone.  I pressed 1 at the robots command to be phoned back but still waiting and waiting and waiting - no one has attempted to phone me back about this.

I phoned Sky to get a quote and guess what - spoke to someone immediately, very helpful - will try some other providers as BT obviously don't want customers.
