Rang bt over 20 minutes no answer so I messaged them on messenger to be shown error code .seems they dont want your cuatom so im cancelling my direct debit .poor service

cancelling your direct debit is not a good idea as you may well end up with a poor credit rating if you owe BT any money.  your record will be given to a debt collecting agency and black mark on credit rating

try contacting billing using message now and see if they can help of connect you to someone that can

Basically "I want special treatment & them to stop speaking to other customers & speak to me". It's price increase time of year so the specific department are going to be busier maybe have more patience
