Delivery to new address I've not moved into yet

Go to solution

I need to have my broadband set up for my first day in a new house.

I understand that if I am not ordering a TV box with my broadband deal, the Smart Hub can just be posted through the letterbox? And I do not need to be there to sign for it? This would be perfect as I can get things activated and have the router waiting for when I get there.

It would be great if someone could confirm.

Thanks.

The hub package is designed to go through a standard letterbox but often the post person decides not to put it through and you then need to go to sorting office to collect

With the last BT item I had delivery I got an email with the tracking number. On the Royal Mail site you could then change the date of delivery or put in a safeplace to leave it if it didn't fit through letterbox.
