Re: End of contract

your fixed term contract will then move to a rolling monthly contract where you can leave at 1 month notice

are you moving to another provider?  if so just place order with new provide (not virgin) and they will make all arrangements to cancel with BT.  if ceasing all broadband then you need to phone to cancel

Your contract doesn’t end on Dec25th , the minimum term may well end on that date , so you can quit without any early termination charges, but as stated , do nothing , the ‘contract’ simply moves to a 30 day notice to quit , and if your intention is to use another provider using Openreach , they serve your notice to quit not you , if you are leaving OR network completely and you wanted to end as close to the 25th Dec as possible then that date has already been and gone , if you are leaving Openreach and serve notice yourself today ( 15Dec ) then it will be around 15 Jan the service ends , so 10 days of your minimum term and 20 days on an out of contract basis , if switching to someone else on Openreach then if the new company start the ball rolling today the migration will take place in around 10-14 days but obviously Xmas day and Boxing Day may affect the actual date of migration
