Hi, I'm looking to sign up to Fibre 2 which is part copper/part fibre.
I want to time this with my move date, so am I best to order 14 days before I need it up and running?
Are you able to choose/change the activation date when ordering?
Thanks

Hard Credit Check without processed order
Hi, I started ordering BT Fibre as I wanted to know if you could select the activation date. I didn't proceed with the order, but I now have a hard credit check on my credit report.
I received an email afterwards to 'complete your order' which just takes you to the BT website to then place a new order, so will they credit check me a second time when I come to actually order?
How would I get the credit check removed from my report?
Thanks

Hi @himonster
Welcome to the Community
Great to hear you're looking to take up Broadband with us.
It would be best to give our Customer sales team a call who will be able to find your pre-order request and complete it.
They will be able discuss engineer installation dates too.
Ali

Re: Joining BT - Activation Date
Have you checked what is available at your new home. If not then enter your address and post results including all the notes. It may be that you are in a FTTP area
