Re: Merger of BT and EE ie NEW EE

I keep getting messages from a company called EE whom I don't recognise other than English Electric. I have assumed that this is some sort of scam, so have always deleted them. Now my family tell me that EE ( whoever they are ) are taking over BT. Why ?

So I looked at a message that I had trashed, and it is full of colourful adverts for things I don't understand. I was attracted by one that said " Or you can pay less for your current package.", but I can't find any more about this.

Can you ask EE to send BT customers easy to read information, please, and not wrapped up as deals or offers

The goalposts have been moved.  According to recent reports, the new CEO of BT Group, Allison Kirkby, has now “shelved” the original re-branding strategy “amid concerns that dropping the historic brand risked alienating older customers”.  Expect more news of this in due course.

It was never called new EE and BT continued selling broadband right up till this pointless doomed endeavour bit the dust.
