Moving Father to a care home - need to cancel BT services.

Hello,

My father is in hospital at the moment, and will soon be moved to care home at the advice of the medical professionals looking after him.

I will need to organise cancelling his BT broadband, TV and phone package, but my siblings and I recently changed his package and I'm worried that there will be a hefty cancellation fee given there is probably a lot of time left on the contract.

Is there something in place for these types of situations, where unexpected changes in health and living circumstances are factored in?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
