I have moved out of my apartment, and would like to ask is it possible to pause the payments/account until I move into a new home? As I am not using the broadband currently and money is being withdrawn, but would like to resume the service (wifi) once I moved into a new house.

This is just a customer to customer self help forum, your post doesn't go to BT.
You need to speak to customer services and discuss your options but I suspect the answer will be that you need to cease your contract at your present address and start a new one at the new address. As you don't currently have a new address, you can't use the home move feature.
