Multiple BT Account

Hi, my dad had an old account with BT at our old address which I set up with my email address, this was all cancelled and closed quite a few months ago, I’ve now moved into my new place and had BT set up (VIP pack with Broadband) tried registering MYBT ID which is the email address I used when I signed up, and getting emails trying to claim reward card, which I click on my account number and the page is just blank, tried talking to BT last night who said they can’t remove the old account, but I see many people have had the same issues on this forum and managed to get the issue sorted, so I’ve resulted to coming here.

any help would be appreciated.
