As with many others, I have experienced the issue of multiple accounts appearing against my BTID.
it was recommended that I set up a new BTID but that doesn’t sEem to have resolved the issue.
can anyone help?

I am sorry for the problems you're having with the multiple accounts associated with your BT ID. Give my colleagues a call in the helpdesk on 0330 1234 150 and one of the guys will get you sorted.

Not easy to achieve, told to do it myself but instructions from the bt help team not easy to follow, suggested I find online manual.
called accounts department but person didn’t know how to remove accounts without loosing my old emails.
I had to set up a new email as my BT ID when I rejoined BT on getting FTTP.
I’m going to leave things as they are in the hope that it doesn’t cause other problems in the future.
BT systems are awful.
