I have been trying to get a new BT landline and broadband account set up at my proerty but several days later its cancelled. Apparently its because my neighbours landline is associated with my NAD key. BT say they canthelp me as the neighbour's number is with Talk Talk but TT don’t seem willing to get the NAD key changed to my neighbour's address. How do I rectify this.? Do I need to contact Open Reach directly?
Hi @Doccg606, sorry you're having trouble getting connected.
It is a difficult one but I would think in an ideal situation your neighbour should be pushing their provider to get the address connected. As your order will automatically trigger a request for you to take over their service and they could end up with no connection.
The other option is to ask sales to place an order for a full provision of service as no service physically exists at your address. You may need to call and speak with sales directly to do this.
Cheers
John
