New broadband subscription, old/unused account number showing in My BT

Hi,

Just signed up for fibre broadband and when i sign into My BT i am seeing both an old account number (from years ago i presume) as well as the new account.

The problem is i cannot switch to the new account number as there is no dropdown in some areas so it keeps defaulting to the old account and i cannot see the details of the new account.

Is there somewhere i can remove this old account or can someone at BT do this for me?

Hi @andyb89

Welcome to the community and thank you for posting.

I am sorry for the problems you're having with your BTID.  I understand there is an older account on there.  My colleagues in the helpdesk should be able to get that sorted for you.  You can reach them on 0330 1234 150.
