Pure "Full fibre 900" for the existing customer

Hi,

I'm currently subscribed to "Full fibre 900 with complete wifi" package. My 24 months contract is ending soon and I want to downgrade to a simple "Full fibre 900" without any additional options as "complete wifi" or "halo 3". I've tried to communicate with the support but was only being told that "full fibre 900" is not provided without either "complete wifi" or "halo 3" for the existing customers. Is that really true?

You should be able to renew without extras

Try phoning the retention team 08007831401 and see what you can negotiate

EE do a 900 Essentials package which excludes BT Halo type additional features.

BT want consumer customers to move to EE so why not take that option.

Because they are charging double the price of competitors..that would be a good reason for not tying oneself into another 24 month contract with in contract increases 12 monthly.

I called them and they switched me to the EE package which doesn't include anything I don't need but have to pay for.
